2. ATTENTION SECTION 81, LEARNING COMMUNITY, ONLY
As I mentioned in class last week, I have arranged for all of us to attend a play on campus. The play is Almost, Maine. Please save the evening of THURSDAY, OCTOBER 24TH. The play begins at 6:30 pm in the Playwright's Theatre. Tickets are complimentary thanks to the First Year Experience program on campus. My hope is that all of us can attend. PLEASE LET ME KNOW AS SOON AS POSSIBLE IF YOU WILL BE UNABLE TO ATTEND. I need to let the box office know the number of students in our group next week.
3. Here is the link to the website I mentioned in class. When you open it, click on the "Filmmaker Q & A." It is not mandatory that your read this, but you may find it quite interesting and useful.

Also, just as a reminder of the three choices you will have on the exam:
--Why did Heidi have the experience she did when she returned to Vietnam? Also, do you think anything could have prevented the outcome?
Upon her return, how did her definition change? What would she say is the meaning of home for her now?
--In many film viewers' opinions, what makes a documentary successful is how the filmmaker sparks our interest and our emtions. Do you think this was an effective documentary or an ineffective one? Why or why not?
